This nice woman was handing out bananas to passing runners around the 10k/six-mile mark. Sustenance!
Other than the man in green body paint, we saw many men in hot pink leggings, a man with an ostrich costume, several flag capes and flags painted on faces, a man in a kilt, many interesting hats, headbands, and wigs, and other assorted strange sartorial choices. It made the marathon quite interesting to watch.
I watched and cheered for about twenty minutes, then came back inside and made hot chocolate. Running 26 miles just ain't my thing.
